The lovely hosts left us a cone to reserve a parking space, because where else would we find parking in this remote area? Plus, the free WiFi was a real treat, I mean, who needs to disconnect and enjoy nature anyways?
The low shower pressure was a delightful surprise, it's not like it's important to have a decent shower after a long day out. Just another added touch to make the stay unforgettable.

I absolutely loved the decoration of the hotel. It had such a cozy and charming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The furniture was comfortable and the common areas were beautifully decorated with lovely little touches. As a senior woman, I also appreciated how accessible the hotel was. There were no stairs to climb and everything was conveniently located on the ground floor, making it easy for me to move around and enjoy all the facilities.
The only thing I would ask for is a better vacation package for senior people. Maybe some special activities or discounts tailored specifically for us.

Garden: The garden at this hotel was like stepping into a secret oasis. It was so lush and vibrant, it felt like I was in the middle of a tropical paradise. I spent hours just strolling through the beautiful flowers and relaxing in the shade of the palm trees.
Noisy train: The mountain railway train nearby can be slightly noisy, but it's actually quite charming. It adds a unique character to the location and didn't bother me at all.

Spacious and cozy house with great views and a lovely garden to relax in after hiking. the hosts were kind and left goodies like coffee, tea, and even eggs and bread! Perfect location for visiting Snowdon, just a short drive away.
The shower pressure was a bit low, which was a slight inconvenience when sharing with multiple people. the noise from the nearby mountain railway train could be a bit bothersome, especially in the summer with windows open, but it added character to the area.

Our stay at Carlyn was absolutely incredible. The house was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect, especially for our climb up Snowdon. We were able to set off right from the house, saving us the hassle of driving or finding parking. The hosts were extremely kind and thoughtful, leaving us a welcome card and delicious Welsh cakes. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed, and the WiFi was fast. We also enjoyed relaxing in the lovely garden after our hike. Despite a few minor points like low shower pressure and some noise from the nearby mountain railway, the overall experience and amenities more than made up for it. We can't wait to stay at Carlyn again in the future. highly recommend this place!
